We caught up with her about girl gamers and how she wants to encourage more girls into the industry.

I went to university and did Animation and it was right next to the Games department. Because of that, there was a lot of crossovers with friendships etc.
So, they noticed you from showcasing your work online? I used social media, and art sites such as Deviant Art and Tumblr. A few times they hired me as a freelancer and then they offered my a full-time position.
It was a dream come true. For the various conventions we go to throughout the year, we normally have a special event poster.
Are your friends and family supportive when you say your work in the games industry? I was incredibly lucky that my parents were super supportive from when I was seven years old and started drawing. Teachers always encouraged you to just go for it.
What key advice would you give to anyone wanting to get into the industry? Get clued up on what software you need to learn and the various credentials you need.
